CONSTRUCTION:

Wires of Aluminum 1350-H19 is concentrically stranded on Aluminum Alloy 6201 core. The number of wires of each one depends on the cable design. In some cable constructions the wires of Aluminum Alloy 6201 can be distributed in layers throughout the Aluminum 1350-H19.


STANDARDS:

ASTM-B524


ADVANTAGES:

• more strength than AAC;

• higher current capability than ACSR or AAAC;

• lower weight than ACSR;

• higher corrosion resistance than ACSR.
